Several ventures should not turn you into the human switchboard.

When you run more than one business—or serve several clients—the same person may be responsible for all of them. That does not mean their priorities, evidence, and decisions should be mixed together.

I know the feeling of moving from one context to another and having to reconstruct the whole world before useful work can begin. The problem is not only volume. It is separation.

What must remain separate

  • Each client, venture, mandate, and authority boundary.
  • Private evidence and the people who are permitted to see it.
  • Decisions that look similar but carry very different consequences.

You need one place to decide where your attention belongs. But once you enter a venture, its own context has to determine what the work means.

Give each venture a home

How to Run Multiple Ventures Without Becoming the Human API explains the difference between a portfolio view and the context that belongs inside each venture.

Review Several Businesses Without Mixing Their Priorities gives you a two-pass review: understand each business on its own terms first, then decide how your shared capacity should be used.

Keep Client Context Separate Across Ventures shows why every record needs the right relationship, purpose, authority, and source before work moves.

Decide What Needs Your Attention Today helps you choose using consequence, commitment, authority, leverage, and readiness—not whichever notification arrived last.

This is the burden I want Orabuena to reduce

Orabuena is still in private research and product discovery. These boundaries describe what I am designing and testing. They are not a claim about a generally available product.
