I am building Orabuena for the person carrying an entire company.

If you run a one-person company, you are not only doing the work. You are remembering the promises, making the decisions, checking what was delegated, following up, and deciding what deserves your attention next. Orabuena is meant to give all of that a calmer place to land.

Why I am building it

I know what it is like when every road in the business leads back to one person. You may have good tools and capable help, but you still have to remember where the conversation happened, what you approved, who owns the next step, and whether the intended result actually occurred.

That is the burden I want Orabuena to reduce. I do not want it to take authority away from the founder. I want it to help the founder see clearly, decide deliberately, and verify what happened.

Why the name Orabuena

Hora buena literally means “good hour” or “good time,” but its meaning is richer than clock time. It suggests a favorable moment: the time is right, something good is beginning, and opportunity is meeting proper timing.

That is what the name Orabuena carries for me: your good hour has arrived. Not because the work suddenly becomes effortless, but because this can be the moment when you stop carrying every commitment, decision, and open loop in your head.

The distinction that matters

Preparation is not permission. Activity is not completion. A task can be checked off without producing the result you intended. Orabuena should help you know what was prepared, what you approved, what was done, and what evidence proves the outcome.

Where we are now

Orabuena is still in private research and product discovery. It is not generally available. I am talking with solopreneurs, learning how their businesses actually work, and testing whether what we are building truly reduces the burden.

A research conversation, a prototype evaluation, product updates, and any future commercial relationship are separate choices. I will not treat one as permission for another.
